Thomas Erastus Reece
CSA Service - Co. K., 62nd Regiment of N. C. Troops. Family members love to tell of how Tom rode his bicycle from East Fork Community of Transylvania Co., NC to Oolenoy Community in Pickens Co. , SC to "court" his future bride, Nancy Trotter. Tom was known for his devout religious beliefs. Every morning before breakfast, he went outside in the woods to pray.
